Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world with thousands of cases being diagnosed each year. More than half of the reported cases are considered to be preventable. This is why we have launched our own awareness campaign to encourage our community to empower itself by learning more about cancer, as well as preventative measures and the importance of screenings for early detection.
A cancer diagnosis can be the most overwhelming experience a person may ever face in his or her lifetime, so it is crucial for people affected by cancer to know they are not alone in this fight. As a community, we need to cooperate and work hard to battle against cancer, to raise funds for research, and to show cancer patients that we support them and stand behind them.
First Call 24/7 is committed to helping people affected by cancer. Participate in our initiative to raise funds for cancer and help spread the word. All you have to do is simply take a photo of yourself next to our Purple Cancer Awareness Truck and post it on Facebook with a like and share to our page. We will then make a donation to the chosen cancer organization of that quarter.
Help us fight cancer and spread the word!
